Since Mesher developed and introduced The 3 V’s framework (Visibility, Variability, and Velocity) to the supply chain profession in 1998, the application of the concept has been so profound that it was a driving reason why CSCMP presented Mesher with its highest honor, the Distinguished Service Award, in 2008 and elected him into its “Supply Chain Hall of Fame” in 2016
